In connection with this move, I've made some important changes to handle the increasing number of members, species and ovograms. To the average user, these changes won't do much. But you will notice some minor changes in layout and workflow. Here are some of the more notable:
Due to noted over-use of the email feature by some members one's no longer allowed to request ovograms through personal emails. Members reported with misuse will get their mailing ability blocked. Feel free to contact members as much as you like. But be aware of the rules and stay friendly with other members. We've been brought up in different ways and we have to live with the fact that not everyone is as well behaved as you are.
Some members have stated that they don't want to be sent ovograms without prior contact. Now that's a public setting you can give your profile, which will disallow members to register ovograms to you unless you've requested them.
You request ovograms either by applying resources to advertised offers or by making "formal requests". Likewise, any member can send you a "formal offer", which is an email you can turn into a "formal request".
I've improved on the offer registration page according to discussions we've had in the forums. It should be easier to find the right species and advertisers have the option to limit their offers geographically.
Also, the layout and background behavior of the classified pages has been slightly updated.
The section where we have links to related sites has now become more dynamic. I'm not done with all their functions yet. Higher ranked members get to moderate the links as they see fit.
The long sought for resource "titanium" will also begin to present itself. It's been around for some time but apparently was too difficult to get. Even more advanced resources have been added for when members reach new levels.
